Interactive Portfolio Platform

A multi-page web development showcase built with pure JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and jQueryUI. No shortcuts, no library plugins, every component written from scratch.

Overview

A multi-page site built end-to-end to demonstrate full-stack front-end development. Three distinct interactive components: a pure-JS form validator, a dynamic content generator with LocalStorage persistence, and a jQueryUI-driven widget, all wired into one cohesive product.

The brief was to prove competence. The deliverable I shipped behaves like a real platform.

Technical components

Form validation: pure JavaScript, multiple rule types (empty, length, numeric range, email regex), no libraries
Dynamic content: non-form JS, runtime generation, filter/sort, LocalStorage state persistence across reloads
jQueryUI widgets: interactive tabs/accordion/dialog/slider with animations and proper state handling
Bootstrap: responsive grid, nav, layout primitives
Code hygiene: clear function structure, named DOM handlers, no copy-pasted snippets

Why it's here

This isn't the most ambitious thing in this portfolio, but it's the one that taught me you can hit any academic brief by treating it like a product brief. The marker wanted three features; what they got was a deliverable they could actually click around in.
